This year has flown by incredibly fast! It’s been a great twelve months for Art Impressions. There were so many wonderful new releases added to the already large catalog of designs. I’m always amazed at the creative genius of Bonnie and her team. Every year I think they can’t top the past one, yet somehow they always do!
And now, here are my top 10 choices in calendar order:
From January – You’re Never Too Old
I like this one because of the pattern that I put in the dress and for the treatment of the sentiment. Plus I just love purple! LOL 🙂
From March – Love Sold Here
I love our furry friends and the pet shop matchbook set was a wonderful new addition to the line. So cute!
From April – Young At Heart
This lady is enjoying life and wouldn’t you know, she’s in purple again. Hmmm. Perhaps there’s a theme here?
From May – Mother’s Day Wishes
This card was done as one of my features. I really like the tea cup and flower images together. The angled sides held closed by the heart band is super for a delicate Mother’s Day message.
Also from May – So Fabulous!
Oh my! The girlfriend’s line is just the best and these four enjoying themselves, being themselves is just the epitome of what true friendship is all about.
From July – Pickle Ball Fun
This lady looks just like my Aunt Judy and she’s a competitive person who always looks her best – just like this sporty pickle ball player.
From August – I Love You So Much
Acronyms are everywhere and there’s always something new like ILYSM becoming popular. I enjoyed the technique of using two simple floral images to emboss the border with gold. It’s a little unexpected and that’s why I like it.
From September – Fall Wishes
This card uses a little mixed media with some watercolor for the background, markers for the main images, and cardstock for the sentiment, leaves, and the sprigs coming out of the top pot.
From October – Spook-Tacular!
This new set is a great addition to the Ai Halloween line. The ghost arm are designed to fold up creating easy dimension. The characters are cheerful and charming. Nothing alarming here!
From November – Warm Hugs
I just adore these two snowman enjoying a warm hug on a winter’s day. It might be cold outside but they only know warmth for each other. Who can ask for better?
